Earth Hour 2011 with a little struggling

I posted some pictures on my Flickr photostream from the Earth Hour event in Johannesburg last Saturday. The Earth Hour event is becoming more and more known throughout the world. For information you can check the official website.

Something else.. I was struggling to get a part for my camera. I was looking for a new screen protector because I lost the old one somewhere. I went to Johannesburg to look for a new one but I couldn't find one, every store I was going in said my camera was too old (2007). The thing is that I'm not angry about the sales men but at the companies. Almost every week they come with a new camera and having nowadays a camera line with over 50 types of cameras. The market is overrun by cameras that are averaged and do not come in the quality range that you are paying for. Nikon, Canon, Sony they are making cameras only to make profit and don't give a damn about the customer. I'm going to call a few other compagnies for the the part I'm looking for, so... to be continued

Sibonile, school for the Visually Impaired.

The Sibonile school is a South African school for the Visually Impaired.
Located 40 km south of Johannesburg it gives education to around 180 children who are blind, deaf, blind & deaf and intellectual disabled.
